The below slides are from part 1 of a multi-part series on Formative Assessment Tools to use with students.  During Part 1, we reviewed what purpose formative assessments serve and what a quality formative assessment looks like.  Some tools that we explored included:

  • Padlet
  • Blendspace
  • Nearpod

All of these tools are easy to use, work nicely on the iPads, and provide some basic functionality to incorporate some formative assessments into plans and presentations you already have developed.  Review the slides for links to tutorials and other information about these tools.
