Remind (formerly Remind 101) is a web service that has been around for a few years now.  It is a simple app that allows teachers to send quick messages to students and parents. It also allows the messages to be sent to a cell phone, without needing to know the student or parent’s number, and without revealing yours.

All MURSD teachers and students already have an account with Remind through their district Google Apps account.  It is quick, easy and painless for parents to sign up, as well.
